Sting's on top again - Symphonicities


Sting's Symphonicities Becomes an International hit

Sting's Deutsche Grammophon album, Symphonicities featuring his greatest hits reinterpreted with brand new orchestrations is resonating deeply with music lovers everywhere. As he continues on his acclaimed world tour with this repertoire, Sting's new album  which was released Globally on July 13th  has become a powerful presence in the international charts.

In its debut week, Symphonicities leapt to #6 in the US Billboard Top 200 cahrts, to #7 in the German long-play charts and to #15 in the Canadian pop charts. Week ending July 31st it held at the #5 spot in the Italian pop charts, where the release has gone Gold, and at #10 in France, where it is already Silver, not to mention #9 in Greece, #10 in Belgium and #1 at the very top of the Portuguese sales charts. Last but not least, It hit the #1 spot in the Poland charts where it also went Platinum!

Having begun his extensive Symphonicities Tour with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra on June 2 in Vancouver, Sting has been crossing North America ever since, with stops including the Hollywood Bowl, Las Vegas's MGM Grand Hotel, the Ravinia Festival and the Metropolitan Opera House, as well as most other major US and Canadian cities. Next, between September 3 and November 10, the will continue all over Europe, as Sting and his symphonic entourage perform concerts in arenas, halls and theatres from Madrid to Manchester to Milan to Minsk, including two nights at London's historic Royal Albert Hall.
